This coupler features a simple-to-use latching mechanism known as the eZ-Latch. With this mechanism, hooking up is as easy as dropping the coupler over your trailer hitch ball. The latch does not need to be tugged or manually activated to allow the ball into the coupler socket, nor does it have to be secured in place. Just make sure that the coupler is properly lined up with the ball when you lower it, and the rest is automatic.

Once received the product was just as I had expected. Very high quality! When I first ordered there was a problem with delivery. This was more on the end of my local post office and not etrailer. The post office returned the item as not being able to deliver. however Mariah at etrailer got right on it and expedited the delivery back to me . Got within two days. Will order from etrailer again! The product is well built and exactly what I was looking for. I’m modifying my travel trailer hitch assembly and this ball receiver is what I need. The price was good and shipping was fast.
Very happy with this hitch. If there is any pressure on the latch it is very difficult to release but usually remedied by giving the trailer a lil bump backwards. Being able to just drop it onto the ball is a lot more handy than I thought it would be...
I am just replacing couplers on my few trailers so i don't have to switch balls. This coupler functions so well i wish i woulda put it on the previous trailer. You can drop it on without unhooking th latch. Neat. Would buy again.

Bought this coupler for a replacement coupler n a large boat trailer where I am upgrading and increasing ball size from 2" to 2.5/16 th for commonality of my other trailers and for increased safety

I had a hard time finding a 3 inch channel coupler (2 inch ball) that could handle 7500lbs+, for which my trailer was rated. I tried local spots, like my local trailer supply. none had any over 5,000lbs. I found this gem that can handle 10k!
