Question:

I have a Ventline model PH stove vent hood. As everyone else will note it is very loud. Research suggests that replacing the three blade fan with one with more blades, while possibly reducing flow, may greatly reduce noise. You have the BVD0216-00 replacement blade, which I believe is the same one on my unit…… but do you have a replacement that has more blades?? If not, do you have any suggestions on repair or replacement of my current unit to reduce noise. Thanks.

For a replacement fan I recommend the Replacement Fan Blade for Ventline RV Range Hood - 6-7/8" Diameter # BCD0409-00. This has the additional fan blade you are looking for and works with PH series horizontal range hoods. Since I don't know for sure what you have, I recommend measuring to to verify this will work for you or looking for the specific model number. This fan blade has a 6-7/8" overall diameter and the shaft diameter is 0.214".
