High Low Adapter Solution for Carrying Winch Plate at Higher Location

Question:
I want to put a hitch-mounted winch on the front of my Tundra. Winch is for helping get out of mud or snow if the truck gets stuck. My front mounted hitch is too low to the ground for a winch so this would help elevate the front hitch receptacle Can I put a winch in the top receiver of this hitch extender?

The Malone part # MPG544 wasn't rated for use with a winch like you mentioned and since it's not overly heavy duty I wouldn't recommend it as a first choice. Instead I would recommend you go with the Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount part # 325-GH-515 which has several hitch openings that you could use for mounting the winch plate.
