Can Bulbs of Trailer Lighting Be Swapped to Convert To LED

Question:

Can I convert my existing travel trailer tail lights turn/brake/tail light and the running lights to LED by simply installing the correct LED bulbs? Is there anything else I should be aware of? I have a 2012 Keystone-Springdale 266RL SSR travel trailer and a 2021 RAM 2500 crewcab with the gas engine. A second question is: Can I add additional tail/brake/turn lights for better visibility by simply splicing in and extending the existing wiring? Thanks,

Yes to both of your questions. You can swap your incandescent bulbs for LEDs to convert the trailer to LED and you can just splice in additional taillights with additional wiring.

Looks like you have a Series 92 taillight so the correct bulb style is 1157 and for LED you'd want # P231157R360.
