What sealant should be used underneath the flange when installing? Should Dicor be used or Butyl tape?

When installing the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan, Thermostat, and Remote # MA00-07500K you will want to use both the Butyl Tape # 362BT-18x1-50 for under the flange and Alpha Systems 1021 Self-Leveling Sealant # AL98KV to cover the flange and screws to get a complete seal.
I have included an installation video that demonstrates installing the fan and the use of the butyl tape and self leveling sealant.
