Question:
I am installing this kit on a cargo carrier. I tested and the lighting system works. Because I would like to unmount the lights and remount when needed quickly, I am looking for a solution that does not require me to rewire every time I install the lights.

All you will have to do is cut off the vehicle side end of the wiring harness that is included with light kit # TLL9RK then hardwire the lights wires to the correct wires on the lights. Since the wiring harness is 25 feet long, you probably can cut it really short. The end result will be a light kit hardwired to a 4-Way that you can just unplug, and everything will stay on the cargo carrier.
We actually have a similar kit that is made for just this purpose. It is the etrailer License Plate and LED Tail Light Mounting Kit for Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier Item # e98943-44LED. A similar kit that would not require any cutting and splicing is # 52014. It has connectors that just plug into the back of the lights.
