How To Install A Furrion Camera System On A Camper Prewired For Voyager Camera System

Question:

Hello, We had a camper on order and during the wait found a different unit we liked better. We cancelled the first order, but, our deposit was store credit which was very nice of them. I used that money for a Furrion back up camera with the 5inch screen. 5 months later the new camper is wired for Voyager.... Being the prewired is power and ground can I mount the furrion camera to the existing setup? If no, what is the difference besides mounting holes? Thank you,

To install your Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision - Rear Mount - 5" Screen # FOS05TASF on your camper with Voyager prewiring you'll need to first remove the Voyager mounting bracket as this design will not be compatible with your Furrion camera. Next you'll need to cut off the Voyager connector cable and splice in the Furrion connector to your positive and negative wires. Then you can install the camera mount and hook up your Furrion camera.
