Question:
I am having difficulties with wiring install of my 2009 ford E250 van. I do not see a plug under my dash for the wiring to brake controller. Van has factory 4 wire installed currently. Wanting 7 wire. Have purchased everything from you.

The connection point on the 2009 Ford E-250 is not exactly located under the dash. It is behind the dash on the passenger side of the vehicle. You have to remove an access panel to get to it per the isntructions, linked for reference. What the instructions do not tell you is that you may have to fish around to find the connector. It could be hiding behind another connector or taped to another harness.
The blue wire for brake output does not run all the way to the back of the van. It will need to be manually run from the brake controller back to the plug in the rear. You will have to cut the blue wire from the end of the harness that connects to the vehicle plug. Then you will need a length of wire like # 10-1-1 (sold in 1 foot increments) to run from the now cut wire to the blue wire on the adapter you purchased.
The brake controller power supply and brake pedal wires are already run. A 12 volt hot lead from the battery will also require installation if needed on the trailer. You can use the same 10-1-1 sized wire. The 12 volt hot lead will have to first go to a 40 map circuit breaker, # PK54540, and then from there to the positive battery terminal. I have included some links that should help.
