Question:
I have a 2021 5th wheel. Just towed it over 3,000 miles with no issues. On the way home i noticed it taking longer to stop. I used the manual control and nothing happened. It’s an F350 with factory brake controller, set to proper control. Where should I start checking.? Is there a fuse other than the chassis fuse? I see no sign of leaks at the wheels. I’m home and i must unhook to get the front compartment door open. Thanks.

Typically when trailer brakes stop working the solution is cleaning off the pin of the 7-way as some corrosion or dirt is preventing the connection from being made.
Otherwise we see a lot of inconsistent brake controller performance with electric over hydraulic actuators if the controller is an integrated one on the vehicle. The solution for this is the adapter part # DX35FR or an aftermarket brake controller we know works well with the EOH setups like the P3 part # 90195.
