Hello, I have two Thule 599XTR Big Mouth Bike Racks that I would like to mount to the roof of my 2010 Honda CR-V with factory installed crossbars. Do you know the best way to do this? Thank you,

I have a solution for you, but there is no way to use the Thule Big Mouth Bike Rack 599XTR on factory crossbars like your 2010 Honda CR-V has. The Thule Adapter # THXADAPT9 you were looking at is not confirmed to fit this bike rack. There are also no aftermarket crossbars that will fit your roof configuration without a lot of modification and removal of your current roof rack, so I would instead just go with a newer updated bike rack that fits your roof rack.

I would go with two of the Swagman Race Ready Roof Bike Rack - Wheel Mount - Clamp On # S64705. This is an affordable and easy to use bike carrier that secures the bike by the wheel. As seen in the attached demonstration video, simply clamp the bike rack onto your factory crossbars and you are all set to install your bike and hit the road.
