Question:
I have a 10K trailer like right on the edge of 10K it is 8.5W x 24L 2/5/16 ball I need a weight distribution Hitch w sway control to go with this I see them all supporting up to 6inch Height tongue Brackets but mine is 8H is there a system that fits 8inch tongues? I did look for brackets and found aftermarket has what they call replacement brackets and they support 8.23H tongues but I cant find what system they belong to I need a Weight Distribution that handles Backing up with Jack knifing at a minimum of 10K support that fits on a 8H tongue frame

The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System part # EQ37140ET is my recommendation for a weight distribution system. It's largely considered to be one of the best options on the market. It has integrated sway control and comes with a hitch ball. It can be used with an 8" tall trailer frame if you obtain two outer brackets part # EQ90-02-5378 and two inner brackets part # EQ90-02-5208.
I regards to maneuverability, you can't jackknife the trailer but aside from that they don't completely restrict turning radius and reverse. That said, you will have to make some sacrifices here if you want to use a weight distribution system.
