Question:

I have a 2018 Mercedes-Benz Metris cargo van with a long wheelbase. I have purchased the Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Roof Rack Crossbars - Black - 65inch Long - Qty 2, and the Rhino-Rack CXB Leg Kit for Raised, Factory Roof Rack Side Rails - Clamp On - Qty 4. I want to mount a flat rooftop tent Bundutec Bundutop SuperKing across the 4 crossbars. The factory rails on the Metris are slightly curved down from the center point about 1.5 inch on the front end from the center and about 1.5 inch on the rear end from the center. What can I use fitting kits or otherwise to make the roof rack crossbars all level on the same plane to mount the rooftop tent?

If the tent is not level on your roof rack then your only solution is to install leg spacers to the side that is lower so that you tent will have a more leveled mounting surface. You can go with Roof Rack Leg Spacer Blocks for Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Crossbars - 5 mm Thick - Qty 2 # RRQMHD05 which comes with two 5mm spacers, or 1/5". Or you can go with the larger Roof Rack Leg Spacer Blocks for Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Crossbars - 20 mm Thick - Qty 2 # RRQMHD20 with are two 20mm spacers, or 3/4". Installation is very simple and detailed instructions are included.
