Solution To Allow 12 Volt Accessory Circuit to be Active on 2019 Mercedes Sprinter

Question:
I have an RV on a 2019 Mercedes Sprinter Chassis. I am trying to troubleshoot power issues to my towed battery charger, specifically the voltage on pin 4 which should be 12V. However I cannot read any voltages on the 7-pin connector with a multimeter, I think due to the lamp out sensor disabling the pins. Will the 20142 allow me to read voltage?

The 7-way to 7-way lamp out adapter # 20142 would work for your 2019 Mercedes Sprinter to prevent the sensor issue you are experiencing. We've had customers with Sprinter vans like yours and they reported that this fixed the issue.
