This is our etrailer plate. As you can see, it would fit directly in the holder. Gives it a really nice, clean look. It's gonna hold it really well.
It does come with hardware to attach the license plate to the holder.Mounts directly to the surface of your trailer. This is designed to work with a standard sized license plate. When it comes to the wiring, it's a two wire design. White wire's ground, black wire's power. The license plate holder is polar white in color.
It's made from a durable plastic construction. It does measure about 15 1/2 inches long by 9 1/2 inches tall. The overall depth from back to the outermost point of the unit is about 3 inches deep.We're going to go ahead and hook it up to power. That way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. Then we'll also turn off our overhead lights so you can see it at a lower light setting.So you can see here that this light sends out a nice clear, consistent signal.

Works great, may even be a little too bright, we will see. Nice replacement for old broken factory piece. I will say, etrailer could stand to step up their shipping. They're on the slow side with it taking 2-3 days to fulfill the actual order and then 3-5 to get here. I also received this and 4 speakers loose in a box with a sheet of packing paper with fortunately nothing scratched or damaged.
Did not come with the mounting hardware as advertised.

Good protection for license plate
Love them, so much brighter, larger, easier for people to see. These are great lights for my trailer, then one that were on my trailer were small and getting cloudy, had for people following to see them. No everyone can see them.
The license plate mount is a great way to mount your plate with a built in led light.The choice of black or white allows you to choose the one that best blends with your trailer colour.
Perfect for my application. I needed to relocate my license plate as it was blocked by a bike rack. I wanted something that looked a little better that the standard trailer plate holder. This was it.
