The Malone EcoLight Sport Trailers like item # MAL43FR have 8" tires with a 5 on 4-1/2 lug pattern. The Kenda 205/65-10 Bias Trailer Tire with 10" Galvanized Wheel item # AM3H490 would work as a replacement but you will most likely have to remove or adjust the mounting of your fenders to give you clearance.

The outer diameter of the Kenda tires will be 4-1/4" larger than the stock 4.80/4.00-8" tires that come with the EcoLight trailers.

The Kenda 205/65-10 Bias Trailer Tire item # AM3H490 has a maximum speed of 87 mph and has an E rating with a 1,650 lbs capacity at 90 psi. This tire has a 1-year worry-free guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way, it will be replaced at no charge.

I want to do the same for my Malone ecolight trailer by upgrading the tires to these 10 inch Kenda’s from the stock 8 inch. I would like to know what the new outside tire to outside tire dimension would be after installing these 205/65-10. The stock tire I believe is 4.7 inches wide while the 205/65-10 tires are 8.4 inches wide. I am at 54 inches wide now on the trailer. Would the new size increase the overall width by 3.7 inches to 57.7. I have a gate the trailer passes through now with 4 inches of clearance. Thanks upfront…. Ray E

@RayE You are correct your current stock tires are 4.7" wide the Kenda 205/65-10 Bias Trailer Tire item # AM3H490 are 8.4" wide. You'll be adding 3.7" in width to both sides of your trailer when you upgrade, not just one side. This will make your combined width 61.4" on the Malone EcoLight Sport Trailer item # MAL43FR.
