Question:

I have crossbars from Lexus on my RX 350. Is this system compatible with those types of bars? Thanks!

The Inno Kayak Lifter, part # INA453 is compatible with crossbar spreads between 27-39 inches. It will fit crossbars that are up to 3-1/2 inches wide by 1-1/8 inches tall, so if the crossbars on your vehicle roof fall into those parameters, the Kayak Lifter will be compatible.

The lifter works best with crossbars that extend past the roof rack feet, so the side rail of the load assist provides a surface for the kayak to ride along as it's being pushed up on the roof, but that's not absolutely necessary as you could drape a mat such as # TH854 over the edge of the roof to provide protection for the vehicle paint as you're sliding the kayak up into place on the roof.
