Easy to clean and stow, this padded mat attaches to the back of your vehicle and protects paint from damage when you are loading a kayak onto your roof. Top of mat is slippery to promote easy loading, and bottom is tacky to cling to your vehicle.

Excellent--I have struggled with towels and other solutions to the problem of getting my kayak on the roof rack without scratching the hull and/or my vehicle. This attaches with Velcro to the roof rack, has a nonslip backing, and the kayak glides right up where it needs to be. The mat also rolls up nicely into the mesh bag that comes with it for easy storage.
This will protect my SUV from getting scrathed when loading my kayak!
This is an amazing product! I am 5'5" and drive a Tahoe. Using this mat, I am able to get my 11.5' kayak on top of my truck all by myself. It's easy to attach to my roof rack and does not bunch up when I am sliding my kayak up. I love how easy it is to use and store. 100% would buy again!
I was previously loading our two kayaks using a towel to protect the SUV roof/hatch corner. However the towel would either slip off and/or bunch up. Problem solved: The non-slip side of the loading mat stayed on the painted surface w/o bunching while the kayaks would easily slide on the up facing slippery side.
Works well. It’s a little tricky to put the pad in with the Velcro straps if you have two kayaks on the car. Other than that, it’s a great product.
Received Thule waterslide in less than a week. It helps load my kayak without damage to the back of my ford explorer. Would definitely recommend this item. Had great service and will buy from them again.

The Thule Water slide Loading Mat has been a big help sliding the kayaks onto the roof. I have not sustained any damage to my Highlander or kayaks using this product.
