Will the tailgate in a 2018 RX Lexus clear the rack when folded down? Travel a lot and need to open tailgate

The trunk door / tailgate of your 2018 Lexus RX350 should be able to clear the Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Gunmetal Gray # NV22G. I attached a video in which we demonstrate this exact thing on a 2017 Lexus RX350 and you can see the Kuat NV 2.0 is far enough away for the trunk to open properly when bikes are still installed. This was able to be done because the bike rack was in the tilted back position. You would also be able to open the trunk properly when the bike rack is empty and in the folded down position.

Locks are included to deter theft of your bike rack and bikes. This rack allows for up to 3" wide tires, but you can add Fat Tire Kit # APBK to fit up to 5" wide tires. There is also a handy ramp # ANVBRB that you can add to ease loading.
