Will Plunger and Rubber Socket Door Holder # PLR64-66 Hold Better than Magnetic Setup

Question:

We have the standard travel trailer door. Sometimes Im in my robe when I wish to open the door, but do NOT want to go outside. We installed a magnetic door holder, and it worked great, but the wind blows the door slammed easily. Question: Will I be able to engage the holder from inside the RV through the screen slide without going out side? Maybe Id have to slam it good to engage it? Will I be able to reach out after opening the screen door and pull the door to disengage it? Thank you!

If you swung the door hard enough you'd get the plunger of the # PLR64-66 to stick in the rubber end and hold it there better than the magnetic setup. You would also be able to reach out and pull the door to disengage the holder as well once you've opened the screen door.
