Replacement for Hi Point convection microwave and Ventilation

Question:

I have an an Open Range RLS 349 5th wheel and need to know if the Furrion FMCM15SS can be vented outside as my current Hi Point model is. I cant tell from your photos if the vent motor can be turned to blow out the back of the microwave.

As long as your current microwave is 29-15/16" wide x 16-3/8" tall x 15" deep then this Furrion Over the Range RV Convection Microwave # FMCM15SS will be able to replace your current Hi Point. As far as the venting is concerned, the vent duct is only on the top of this unit. The Furrion does use a 2-Speed exhaust fan with filters to remove unwanted odors, smoke, and moisture. It also has a charcoal filter located in the top for air filtration. The Furrion vents back into the RV and recirculates. Because of the Furrions vent system style it will work to replace your current Hi Point but it would not vent in the same way.
