Question:

We have a 2021 Honda Odyssey van and are looking for a rack that can hold four bikes. We have two beach cruiser style women’s bikes, a man’s bike, and a child’s beach cruiser that has fenders. I am not sure whether the saris bike rack can be used with fenders wheel mount vs frame mount. Any advice is welcome.

Actually, the unique clamp setup of the Saris Freedom 4, part # SA4414B rack you'd looked at would accommodate all the bikes you mention.

Because the rack holds the bikes by the bottom of the tires and either by the top tube or the seat post tube, it'll work with bikes that have fenders and women's bikes with step-thru frames. As far as bike style compatibility goes, this rack is one of the most versatile options we offer, and I'd highly recommend it for your situation. The bike rack's shank is angled upwards for additional ground clearance and an anti rattle hitch lock is included. A cable lock to secure the bikes to the rack is available as part # SA981.

If you don't already have a hitch, I'd recommend the Curt # C64NR which is the least visible hitch we offer that has the most ground clearance.
