Replacement 7K Trailer Axle With 92 Inch Hub Face and 74-1/2 Inch Spring Centers

Question:

Is this axle available in different dimensions? I need 92inch Hub face with 74.5inch Spring centers Thanks

The only 7K axles we offer with straight spindles are the Dexter # 8327834 axle you'd looked at and the same axle with brake drums/hubs, part # 8327834-EB. These axles have a hub face to hub face distance of 95 inches and a spring seat center to center distance of 80 inches. These axles could be safely altered so they'd work for you.

Using this axle would only move your wheels out by 1-1/2 inches on each side which will not present a problem. The spring center distance isn't a huge deal, either. You can very easily use an angle grinder to remove the existing spring seats and have new ones tack welded in place in the proper position by using part # TRSS300.

The only other option would be to order a custom built axle from your local trailer shop, as we don't offer custom axles.
