I am wanting to secure my door more. It seems that its been broken into through the main door and im looking into a new lock or better lock. Im not exactly sure which one would be best. I live in this motorhome and safety is very important.

I don't think you can go wrong with a deadbolt when it comes to security. I recommend using the Valterra Deadbolt Lock for RVs - Single Cylinder - Stainless Steel - 5/8" Throw # L32CS3008 or 1" Throw # L32CS3108, which will give you a bit more security than just a standard RV entry latch and can even be used paired with your regular door latch.
These deadbolts can be used on doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick, so you'll want to confirm your door thickness to make sure this would work.
