Question:

I already have a 7 pin adapter connected to my factory installed 4 pin but the additional lines were not run to the battery. Do I need to have them run through the car to connect for the Echo to work? Or am I good as is? Thanks

For The Curt Echo # C51180 to function it must have power from the charge line of the 7-way and signal from the brake lights.

The Curt Trailer Connector Adapter # C57672 sounds similar to the connector that you added to your 2020 Honda Odyssey. The 4-way takes care of the light signals that the Echo needs to see. You will need to run a 10 Gauge Wire # DW02508-1(this is sold by the foot so be sure to measure how much you will need) to your battery with a 30 amp. In-Line Circuit Breaker # 38630 using 2 Deka Ring Terminals # DW05762-1. A 3rd ring terminal may be used for the battery connection depending on where you are able to attach this wire. This wire will connect to the black power wire on the adapter. Be sure to ground the additional white wire to the chassis. The Blue wire is used for a hardwired brake controller and is not required with the Echo. The yellow wire is for reverse lights. If you pull a trailer with reverse lights or a electric reverse lockout this will need to be connected.
