Just bough à Rockwood fifth Wheels, the Hitch on the fifth Wheel is to narrow, i can’t thight the 4 screen each Side, missing 1’’ each side. CAN i Weld a plate eachside so i can thight those srews i have a demco autoslide premier series or hare there longer bolt

The reason the Demco Capture Plates # DM6171 aren't working with your Lippert Turning Point pin box is because they were specifically designed for Trailair Rota-Flex pin boxes. Since you have a Demco Autoslide # DM8550037 you'll need to lockout your Turning Point pin box and allow rotation only at the hitch to king pin connection point. To do this you'll need to install two 5/8" - 11 x 2" in the lockout holes in the back of the pin box.
