Question:
I have read your article stating that it is possible to flat tow a 2004 Mini Cooper S with manual transmission. What if the vehicle is front wheel drive? Does that change your opinion. Thank you for your help.

According to page 129 of the online owner's manual I looked up for a 2004 Mini Cooper, if it has front wheel drive, it cannot be flat towed as it will damage the transmission, so you will need a tow dolly. The best option for that is from Roadmaster:
- Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes # RM-2050-1
The Roadmaster dolly will allow you to tow your Mini and is the best option because it allows for the tightest maneuverability for a dolly, and because its electric brakes give you complete control over your stopping power. I have added links below to video reviews for you to check out as well.
