Determining The Centerline When Installing A Solera RV Awning
Updated 10/13/2021 | Published 06/29/2021 >
Question:
Can you give me the center line measurement of your 12 foot awning vertical channels? Also the same for the 13 Foot awning! I want to order one of these units but want to make sure it will fit first! Thanks

Awnings like the Solera 12' - 12V XL Power RV Awning # LCV000334919-362241 are measured from centerline of the arm rail to centerline of the arm rail. If you look at the attached diagram you'll see that centerlines of the rails. If you have a 12' awning then the distance between the two centerlines would be 12'. If you wanted to choose a spot for the center of your awning you would just need to measure 6' over from both sides. Rails are approximately 3"- 4" in width so at each rail line you'll want to ensure you have at least 4" of space.
I've attached a video where David will walk you through installation.
