The Yakima 1A Raingutter Towers (QTY 4), part Y00101, is not tall enough to work with the one touch sunroof on your 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. In order to operate the sunroof you need the tallest, 11", rain gutter towers. If you add the HiRise Spacers for Yakima 1A Raingutter Towers, part # Y01101, your towers will have the necessary height. You can add the Round 58" CrossBars for Yakima Roof Rack System (QTY 2), part #Y00409. This rack will have round bars, so any of our kayak carriers will work with this system. I recommend adding locks, Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores (QTY 4), part # Y07204, to secure your rack to the vehicle.
I prefer j-style carriers, so my recommendation is the Yakima JayLow Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs - J-Style or Post Style - Folding - 1 or 2 Kayaks, part # Y04073. This carrier can carry one kayak j-style or two kayaks vertically. It has padding to protect the hull of your kayak. The carrier comes with two cam straps and two bow and stern straps. It can also be locked to your vehicle and with Yakima's Same Key System you can have all of your locks keyed alike.
