Where Does Brake Controller Install Harness Plug in 2023 Chevy Suburban RST

Question:

Hi! I have a 2023 Chevy Suburban Rst, where is the location for the trailer brake wiring? I’ve looked under the steering wheel area. Am I looking for a plug or wires that I’ll need to splice? Any recommendation on a trailer brake kit? Thanks!

Your 2023 Chevy Suburban RST does come with the factory tow package so there would be a harness under the d ash near the emergency brake pedal that the part # 3016 would plug into. This would allow you to use a brake controller like our very popular and great performing Prodigy P3 part # 90195 which would be a really great option.

Behind the emergency brake pedal on the Suburban mounted on the floor will be a black plastic cover that covers an electric junction box. If you remove the cover you will be able to plug in a brake controller install harness part # 3016.

I have 2023 chevy tahoe rst I have a rizz man controller try to find the plug on the tahoe . There is no e brake pedal. Where is this plug located.

@Robrossow If you look under the dash to the right of the brake pedal do you see like a ribbed plastic box? It would need to plug in there. If you check out the linked instructions check out the pictures labeled B and C.
