WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE A-20 AND THE Q-20 FIFTH WHEEL HITCH? I JUST BOUGHT A NEW 2021 GMC HD2500 AT4 WITH THE FACTORY FIFTH WHEEL PREP PACKAGE, WHICH HITCH IS BEST?

Both the Curt # C57FR Q20 and # C84FR A20 are compatible with the pucks in the bed of your 2021 GMC Sierra 2500 long bed. There are a few important differences.

The A20 uses an interlocking jaw that holds the king pin tightly all around its 360º circumference. The Q20 uses a 2 piece jaw that doesn't interlock, so it doesn't hold the king pin quite as tightly as the A20 does. This means that the king pin won't move around in the jaws which provides a smoother ride.

The A20 uses a torsion head that reduces road shock felt in the tow vehicle. The Q20 uses a spherical bearing that will also do a good job of absorbing road shock.

Due to the better ride quality and flexibility it offers, I'd recommend the # C84FR Curt A20 over the # C57FR Q20. If you click the provided links, you can see product description videos for both 5th wheel hitches.
