Swing Away System For Sprinter Vans

I’m looking at the subject hitch accessory for use on a 2012 Roadtrek SS 20’ Short Sprinter, and have seen conflicting info on compatibility with RVs. I would primarily use it with a cargo platform, but sometimes with bike rack, always within weight specs. Would this be appropriate for my situation? Other recommendations?

When I did the videos on all the swing away systems like the Thule # TH9037 and the Kuat # PVP20B I also found conflicting information. That being said, I would consider your "recreational vehicle" a van. So a short Sprinter like what you have it won't be a problem as long as your hitch is rated for at least twice as much weight as you plan on putting on. This is because when using any type of extension on your hitch, it will cut the capacity in half. This would be great for this cargo carrier # e98874.
