Piano Hinge Cut Down For Replacement Storage Door Hinge On 2003 Bluebird Bus

Question:
We are replacing the hinges on underbody storage on a 2003 bluebird. 1. Can a 72inch piano hinge be cut down 66 ? 2. Would your aluminum hinge support a 65 pound door bouncing down the road. The alternative is your stainless steel hinge for a considerable price difference.

The 2" Wide Continuous Aluminum Hinge # PLR846 can be cut down and used for virtually any length. The longer that you can leave the hinge the stronger it will be. This hinge will be plenty strong enough for your 65lb storage door on your 2003 Bluebird.
