Is the Width of the Redline 2 inch Steel Hinge Measured Folded or Unfolded

in the specs. the hing is 2 inch laying flat. is this folded or unfolded. thank you for your time.

I spoke to my contact at Redline and he informed me that the 2 inch width is measured when the Redline 2 inch Wide Continuous Steel Hinge # H200 is unfolded.

Will the hinge hold up to heat will be using it for my smoker fire box door

@Fred yeah it's all steel so it will hold up just fine. Fire and smoke can't melt steel so you wouldn't have to worry about it.
