Replacement Converter for 1999 Dutchman with Magnetek 6345

Question:

I have a 1999 Dutchman travel camper with a Magnetek 6345 converter 6300 a series 45 amp I was wondering if the PD 4645V is a direct replacement will it fit in the same area and is there a bunch of rewire that has to be done And how is the battery charger work it does not overcharge or under charge the batteries I just want to make sure everything fits back in the same place the old one comes out of And it does not kill the batteries.
