Question:
Question:Do we leave our Mini Cooper in park or in neutral position when dolly towing?

Generally speaking, FWD vehicles that are dolly towed would be placed in park with the steering wheel locked. I checked the owner's manual for the 2015 Mini Cooper for dolly towing procedure, and didn't find much information there, other than the fact that automatic transmission equipped models should be towed with the front wheels off the ground. I'd recommend checking with your Mini dealer for further advice.
I've linked to a product demonstration video for the Roadmaster # RM-2050-1 Tow Dolly you'd looked at.
