Question:

will a 4 step work on a 34inch height. My wife does not like the first step to be high off the ground. I believe the 3 step unit will be higher off the ground than the 4 step. Thanks for your help

The Triple Step, SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps for 25" to 28-7/8" RV Door Frames, # LC791572 is for an entry height of 27" - 36" so yes this would fit your 34" height. However, the # LC791574 Quad Step model is for 35" to 44" so you are right on the edge with that one inch mark. I think you may be alright with quad if you draw the extendable legs all the way in.
