Question:
Lippert Power Tongue Jack. At Campsite, jack would not retract and the light would not work, both issues at same time. Jack extends fine. I cant believe both switches failed at same time, and I would suspect ground issue, although jack extends. Motor has to be good. Ideas? I have not opened up yet.

If your Lippert Electric Trailer Jack # LC285318 won't retract, there are a couple issues, and you are on point with the ground being a potential problem, so that's definitely where I would start. It is also not likely the switch since you mentioned the motor is good and it is getting power but you can remove it and try to clean the contacts.
As for the light, since it is not working, you can open the jack and see if there is any loose wiring or connections, which is the most likely scenario as to why. If needed, you can replace the light with the Replacement LED Light Module for Lippert Electric Trailer Jack # LC226027.
