The Pole-Tongue Adapter for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems # EQ95-01-5950 may allow you to connect a weight distribution hitch to your boat trailer. To know for sure you will need to measure back 27-32" to see if the adapter will mount to the frame where your winch stand is mounted. The adapter will fit on frames 1"-5" wide and 2"-5" tall. If this will not fit what you have, please let me know where your measurements fall and I will see if there are any other options available.
If this adapter will fit then you will also need to check the measurements for the spare tire. The spring bars are 36" long from the ball mount. And the adapter will move the frame mounts for the spring bars out 10-3/4" from the center of the trailer at the 27-32" mounting point. This may not allow enough clearance for the tongue jack to remain where it is on the tongue.
Once you have done all your measurements to determine if the hitch will fit on your boat trailer the next step is to determine the total trailer weight and tongue weight. The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37100ET is rated for a total trailer weight up to 10,000lbs and tongue weight of 600-1,000lbs. It is also compatible with surge brakes. If your weights do not fall into these parameters please let me know and I will recommend for you a system that fits your weight ratings.
