How To Remove Trim Frame On Greystone Fireplace

How to remove the wooden trim to get to the screws holding the fireplace?

To remove the trim frame from the Greystone 324-000065 (DISCONTINUED) electric fireplace you lift up on the trim from the top of the frame. If you take a look at the video I have linked below, at the 2:49 minute mark, they show you where to pull up at.

If you need a replacement remote control you can use the Furrion # FR34FR Unismart remote.

@Sandra Hey Sandra, this is an older answer and it looks like the video referenced is no longer on our site. The trim frame can be removed by carefully lifting up on it and pulling away from the body of the fireplace.

@JesseM Do I need to remove the trim before I can pull out the fireplace from the cabinet/entertainment center that it has been stored in for use?

@Sandra typically yes you would since the hardware holding the fireplace in place is behind the trim.
