Question:

I will be mounting a 2inch Receiver hitch on the front of my truck. I currently own a Honda EU3000 Generator, larger envelope than the Honda 2000. I saw the Load Sidekick and was wondering if there a 2inch Receiver Hitch Carrier available to fit Honda EU3000 Generator? I have to have a 3000Watt Generator to run my camper AC.

According to my research, the size of a Honda EU3000 generator is 25.8 long x 18.9 wide x 22.4 high. For a carrier that will fit the generator on a 2-inch hitch receiver if you plan to operate the generator on the carrier, I recommend the 20x59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding # C18151. It fits the dimensions of the Honda EU3000 and it is make of steel, so it can take the heat of the generator once it gets hot.

If you are just wanting to transport the EU3000 and place it on the ground to use (or another surface that can withstand heat), I recommend the GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # H00604 because the enclosed space will protect the generator from the elements. The GearDeck 17 comes with comes with a rubber strip that seals out water around the lid. The GearDeck is large enough to hold your EU3000, but there is the potential problem of the plastic material melting from the heat of the generator.
