Ventline Metal Roof Vent Cover for 1970 Pilgrim Truck Camper?

Will this fit? From inside I measure 14 inches. I cant get on roof myself to see why the old one came apart and blew away. I will ask someone to get up there when I have the part. Thank you.

14 inches square is the standard roof opening for vents, vents with fans, and air conditioners - so you are on the right track. There are two pieces to the Ventline # BV0534-00: the vent body that is screwed and sealed to the camper roof, and the lid to the vent body. I the vent body was damager beyond mending, then this is the right part for you. If you only need the lid, which is frequently the case, then you need to take a close look at it and determine what style of lid hinge you have. I have attached a graphic showing the three types which are 4-point hinge, 3-point hinge, and continuous hinge.

For instance, if you needed a continuous hinge vent lid, then the Ventline # BVD0449-A01 would be a good choice.

Hey Chip, yes I agree the metal lid of the Ventline Ventadome part #V2110SP-24 is going to hold up the best over time which would mean you wouldn't have to worry about replacing the lid for a very long time. How old is the trailer?
