Hello, I have an older Schwinn bike rack with 1inch round tubes and after reading info in your site I believe the #HR740-P will work. Problem is I need three, so my question is... Is there a less expensive alternative? Thanks,

The good news is that as long as your rack's arms are 1" in diameter, then the Replacement Standard Cradles for Hollywood Racks Bike Carrier with 1" Arms - Qty 2 # HR740-P should be a fit for your Schwinn bike rack. In this case they are going to be the most cost effective solution, and at least you'll have an extra on hand in case there are more issues in the future.

The only other option would be the Replacement Stay-Put Cradle for Thule Parkway and Roadway Bike Carriers # 853-7887 combined with the Replacement Strap for Cradles on Thule Bike Racks - Qty 1 # 852-3006-001; combining these two parts would give you a single cradle that would be compatible but I don't believe it to be a more cost effective solution in most cases.
