i need to replace a fantastic fan - bv8100 fan. is the fvk8017-00 my replacement?

It sounds like you might have a Create-A-Breeze B8100 model fan, which is a Fantastic Vent series fan. The correct replacement for the fan and motor on 8000 series units is the Replacement Fan Motor Assembly Kit for Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent Fans # FVK8017-00 you were looking at.

If you can provide a photo of the spec sticker with your model number or the motor part number I can confirm this for you.

@TomM Hello Tom, If you have a fan like the Dometic FanTastic Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # FV803350 then you will want the Replacement 3-Speed Switch for Dometic FanTastic Roof Vent # FVK1031-05. If you are unsure of what model you have there should be a sticker on the vent, if you can send me that information I will double check for you. Any fun trips coming up?
