Speed Rating For Cargo Carriers
Updated 04/19/2021 | Published 04/17/2021 >
Question:
I have been seeing reviews, especially for the aluminum ones, that the speed rating is 45mph or 55mph as the top speed. Is there an aluminum rated for interstate/hwy speeds of 80mph?

I am not sure why manufactures will put a speed rating on cargo carriers. For our cargo carriers, that is not the case. The Curt aluminum cargo carrier # C18113 is rated for highway speeds so there is no limitation for speed. I've included a video for you to watch and learn more about our carrier!
