The Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch # DL17042 will accept the Replacement Handle # DL5144639. This handle is 6" in length compared to the 9-1/2" of the handle that comes on your winch.
A better option may be using the Ratcheting Handle # DL70371. This handle is 8-1/4" long so that you won't be giving up as much leverage. And with the ratcheting feature you will be able to use it in any range that you have available.
