My Edge CS2 Tuner Comes On When Engine Is Running, Is This Correct?

my tuner wont turn on when i turn on ignition switch, it will come on when engine is running is this correct?

The instructions for Edge Evolution CS 2 Performance Tuner # EP85301 state that the unit will power on as soon as it detects that your vehicle has started, so this matches what you are seeing. The instructions also state that you will be able to turn your key to the on position (without starting your vehicle) and then press enter on the tuner to power it up.
