Question:
What is the range of the Bluetooth?

Expert Reply:
The Portable Power Watchdog Surge Protector with Bluetooth and Emergency Shut Down - 50 Amp # HU87FR has a Bluetooth 4.2 module with an maximum range of roughly 100ft; this will be limited by your surroundings and the phone software, so that might decrease that range from that 100ft. Ideally, you'll have a clear line of sight to the unit in most cases to provide you the optimal monitoring of your power.
I will note that this unit is also compatible with an RV Whisper monitor system, which can be connected to WiFi to allow you to monitor your system remotely if that's your goal. So, if your coach has that system then you could monitor it from almost anywhere.
