Question:
Hello there. I just bought a new Telluride with the towing package. The 2021 has the 7 pin connector. I understand there is a molex connector under the dash that is ready to connect to a brake controller. I also have a trailer brake controller harness that came with the tow accessories. With this in mind, what do I need to add to use these existing components? Specifically, what are some options for what needs to be mounted in the cabin of my car? I have thoroughly researched the Curt Echo and understand that it will work, but wondered if there was a more effective item knowing that the wiring is mostly ready. Thank you in advance for any suggestions or advice.

It looks like you've got everything you need, except for a brake controller.
The Curt # C51180 Echo Wireless Brake Controller would be very effective, with your vehicle being already pre-wired, the install would be plug and play. The only knock I have on the Echo is that it can't be locked to the vehicle. If you leave your vehicle unattended for a few minutes, somebody could walk off with it, which would leave you without functional trailer brakes.
For this reason, and because you're already prewired there's really no reason not to go with a more traditional type controller. If you don't mind having a controller mounted to the underside of the dash, I'd recommend the Tekonsha P3, part # 90195. The pigtail included with the P3 would wire directly to the harness the factory provided shown in the photo you provided. The harness would connect to the pigtail, color for color. I've linked to a video showing the features of the P3.
If you'd perhaps prefer a controller that isn't so visible that wouldn't hang from the underside of the dash, the Redarc Liberty, part # RED24FR would be an excellent choice. The control unit mounts under the dash, out of the way and out of sight. You'd mount the control knob somewhere within easy reach of the driver. An unused switch knockout in the dash or center console provides the perfect mounting spot. You'll also need the # RED69FR pigtail, which would connect to the factory harness color for color. I've linked to an install video showing the Redarc Liberty being installed on a 2020 Hyundai Palisade. The video shows the full install on a vehicle not equipped with the tow package, but the video will still be helpful.

I have the same set-up as Jennifer L. I have a 2021 Kia Telluride with factory installed tow package and wired 7 pin connector with the factory brake control harness included. Mike L said that we would also need the RED69FR pigtail to complete the install, but when I look at the info for the RED69FR it says "Universal wiring harness allows you to install the Tow-Pro brake controller in your Kia Telluride without a factory tow package. Plug one end of the harness into the brake controller and the other end splices into your Kia Telluride's wiring." Since I DO have a factory tow package I am not clear if I need this harness or not. Could you help clarify if I need it? Thanks in advance
