We do have an adapter that will work with a standard 5th wheel hitch like a Pro Series/Reese on your 2018 GMC Sierra 2500, but the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch with Slider # C16023 is only designed to work with Curt hitches, so you'll need an adapter from Demco, with the right one depending on the bed size of your truck:
- 8 Foot Bed: Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package # DM6206
- 6-1/2 Foot Bed: Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package # DM6194
The different bed sizes have slightly different spacing, which is why there is a different adapter for each, but this is exactly what you will need to mount a standard 5th wheel hitch as it will essentially give you industry-standard bed rails in your truck.
