Question:
I am planning to replace the bathroom vent fan unit in my 2005 Jayco Eagle. The current fan is operated by a wall switch. Can this replacement Maxxair unit be operated by a wall switch or only with the push buttons on the unit itself? Thanks

We have trailer roof vents that have an included wall switch you can use, but it is not recommended to use one with the MaxxAir MaxxFan Mini Roof Vent with 12V Fan # MA00-04301M because this vent is meant to have 12 volt power constantly, and a switch interrupts the voltage, which could damage the circuit board.
If you'd like, what you can use instead is an option from Ventline which includes the wall switch for simple use:
- Ventline Ventadome Roof Vent with 12V Fan and Wall Switch # V2119-1-533
I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.
